Description

The African Violet has quite the history, rooting itself with an association of royalty to plant crazed homes during the indoor plant boom of the 60’s. The colorful blooms sprout in groups of five and can come in many different colors ranging from purple to pink or white, fitting easily into any small space. Their thick, green, and fuzzy leaves are also easily propagated.

The African Violet was discovered in the Eastern Arc Mountains of Tanzania and Kenya. Your African Violet will not always arrive in full bloom, but not to worry—the buds will open within a few weeks. Blooms typically last between 2-3 weeks and will continuously rebloom with proper care and conditions. Bottom water when the soil is just beginning to dry and place in indirect bright light.
